Last week we saw a good jump in SERPs and traffic.  This week has been similar but not to such a high degree.  Never-the-less these homepage links are still working their magic.

I have increased 1 position in Google.com so I am now at position 4.  I received 36 visits from my keyword last week which is a good increase.  Hopefully if I can just break into the top 3 I should start to see even more traffic from this.  I would also like to note that I am now at position 1 in Google.co.uk for this keyword.  My ranking for this keyword for Google UK has been lateral with my Google.com ranking so this is a good boost and proves these homepage backlinks do carry some juice.  I am not tracking Google UK as this keyword only applies to US based visitors.  If this was a worldwide relevant keyword I’m sure my traffic would have increased more.

I decided to swap my 4 PR3 links with 3 PR4 links as I thought this would give me a better chance of ranking for the competitive keyword.  I think this is what caused the dancing for the ranking of this keyword.  I hoping next week will be better for this keyword.  I really want to break into the top 3 for this keyword.  If I do I will see a huge traffic increase.  You can see my traffic spiked to nearly 3600 visits in 1 day when I was at position 6 for this keyword.
