High PR Society Review – My 2 Month Case Study Of Using Homepage Backlinks
This post includes weeks 7 & 8 rankings. As was the same for most of the previous weeks, website 1 is not ranking well. It has fallen off the face of the earth and is probably stuck in the Google sandbox. It doesn’t appear to be recovering, but luckily website 2 is now ranking better. Check out my final 2 weeks using High PR Society

As I mentioned above, there is still nothing to report on website 1 so I’m not going to bother with a chart. I am still indexed in Google, however I am in the high 200’s and it has stayed like this for the last 2 weeks. I think I have been put in the sandbox, I have no idea why, the site is well aged, already has a ton of diverse backlinks and quality, unique content. I will remove the homepage links on highprsociety to see if they were causing the drop in rankings. I doubt it though, a few PR 4 links is hardly going to make that much of a dent.

Website 2 is now looking quite steady in it’s rankings. For the last 5 days we have stayed at position 4. I think for the competition of this keyword I will never be in one spot for too long. As long as I am bouncing around the top 5 it should be ok. Traffic has steadily increased and now in March my traffic is approaching 7500 visits per day.
So that’s it, 2 months of using HighPRSociety and we are finally at the end of this case study. One of my websites benefited from these links greatly, whilst the other seems to have done the complete opposite.
Below I will list some of the pro’s and con’s of this service.
Pro’s
- Easy to add your links, simply enter the anchor text, url and hit ok.
- Can start receiving good link juice immediately. Links are placed on sites within 30 mins in most cases.
- PR is legit, both of my sites jumped up by 1 page rank after having these links pointing to my domain.
- Good value for money at $9 for one PR4 homepage link.
Con’s
- Payment system is a little confusing, it’s hard to add extra credits for just 1 month (say I had a client for one month who wanted some high PR links) as you have to sign up to another monthly recurring payment. If you forget about it you end up paying for both month after month.
- If you want to delete your link more than 24 hours after being placed you do not get reimbursed for the credits you have used. Would be nice if there was a longer grace period at the beginning of each billing cycle. If you are not around your PC on that day to delete them you lose out, as what happened to me this month.
- Dashboard does not list the category you put the links into. This should definitely be added to the dashboard.
- No discounts on bulk purchase of credits.
Conclusion
I have had my up’s and down’s with HighPRSociety but it is definitely something that I will keep in my link building arsenal. From the results I have seen from website 2 it would be stupid not to keep these homepage links live. I’m positive I can get website one out of its sandbox and return it’s rankings back into the top 10. I will certainly not let my experience with website 1 put me off from using this service with my other sites. In fact I am actually using this service with 2 of my other sites and am seeing good results with that too.
It’s hard to get this much link juice from other services for $25 per month(the $50 worth of credits split between the 2 websites in this case study). I’ve tried a lot of cheap services that offer diverse links but none of them have delivered as good results as HighPRSociety. Just have a look on any of the forums offering services and see what you can get for $25 per month…..pretty much nothing other than low quality links such as bookmarks, spam comments, spun article submissions etc.
Even one PR4 link for a low competition keyword can do wonders for your rankings. I placed a PR3 link to one of my other sites and my page rank jumped up from PR0 to PR2 and I immediately shot up to position 6. Believe me these link are powerful.
I really cant fault the value for money of this service. I would give it 5 out of 5 stars however the con’s I listed above have to be taken into consideration and also the fact that website 1 did go into a sandbox after using this service (who knows if HighPRSociety was the cause of this). In spite of these few minors things I still highly recommend this service.
