Homepage Backlinks From HighPRSociety.com – How Good Are They? – Part 1

January 2, 2012 Case Study 2

I have been meaning to sign up to HighPRSociety.com for some time now, I have used HKSEO services in the past and liked what they did.  I’ve just taken the plunge and have decided to run a case study for the next few months to see if there is any improvement in my sites rankings using homepage backlinks from High PR Society.  I have never purchased homepage links in the past but have seen them offered many times on forums but most of the time the prices have been out of my reach.  HighPRSociety seems to have come up with a easy to use and reasonably cheap way of purchasing and managing homepage links.

High PR Society is a private blog network a lot like BuildMyRank, Authority Link Network etc.  I currently have a subscription with BMR so the article distribution side of this service didn’t interest me too much, also the fact that they allow spun content and that there is no moderation implemented made me not too excited about the service.  The thing that did get my attention about this service was that you could place your links on these blogs homepages for a fixed monthly fee/credit.

The only negative thing about these blog networks is that after 1-2 weeks your article gets pushed back to the archive pages and is no longer on the homepage.  What this means is that you lose the link juice of the homepage, which is usually anywhere from pr1 – 6.  These homepage backlinks are permanent, meaning they will be on the homepage for as long as you keep up your subscription with HighPRSociety.

I will be testing 2 websites in this case study.  For each site I will be targeting 1 keyword.  I will call the websites 1 & 2.  Each week I will post my rankings for the keyword I am trying to rank for.

Check below to see the details of the websites.
